Plextor to present SSDs with TLC-memory at CeBIT

Plextor will show new 2.5-inch SSDs featuring TLC-flash chips at the CeBIT conference, which takes place between March 5th and 9th in Hannover, Germany. The Triple Level Cell (TLC) chips are produced by Toshiba and will be combined with a 6 Gbit/s Marvell-controller. The combination should lead to 80,000/72,000 IOPS for the reading and writing of 4K random files respectively. Plextor claims the drive has a maximum writing speed of 465 MB/s, while reading actions are performed at up to 540 MB/s....
