Qualcomm Quick Charge charges phones up to 40% faster

Qualcomm has announced a 'new' technology, which has been implemented in a wide variety of handsets already. It's more of a teaser, as the company indicated that it would introduce a similar technology, or perhaps a successor, at next week's Mobile World Congress. The technology is called Quick Charge 1.0 and is claimed to improve the charging speed of mobile devices by up to 40 percent.
