Mysterious 'Google Chromebook Pixel' not a hoax?

Last week, we reported on a mysterious video that had surfaced online, depicting a special notebook, 'Google's Chromebook Pixel'. This was allegedly a future product of the search engine giant, equipped with a 2560x1700 pixel screen. There's plenty of reasons to be sceptical, including the fact that Google hasn't actually made any notebooks thus far.
