Intel launches 180 GB 335 Series SSD

Intel's 240 GB SSD 335 was the manufacturer's first solid-state drive featuring 20 nm flash chips. We already mentioned that the drive would be released in smaller capacities, of which the 180 GB version has now made its debut. The 180 GB Intel SSD 335 has product number SSDSC2CT180A4K5 and is based on LSI-SandForce's SF-2281 controller, combined with a SATA 6 Gb/s interface.
