Iiyama announces ProLite XB2776QS with IPS panel and WQHD resolution

Iiyama has developed a new 27-inch monitor with an IPS panel, the ProLite XB2776QS. While most manufacturers limit their 27" screens to a 1080p resolution, Iiyama's new creation has a WQHD resolution of 2560x1440 pixel. The screen has LED backlighting and bi-directional viewing angles of 178 degrees, characteristic of IPS panels. Iiyama claims a 5 ms response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio and a 350 cd/m² brightness.
