French mobile operator Orange does have a presence in other countries as well, and they have just announced a trio of spanking new Android-powered smartphones. While these three handsets will not shatter your world by occupying the high end side of things, they are certainly decent enough to use as a workman’s device. A couple of these will be powered by Qualcomm chips, although the San Remo relies on a MediaTek chip. The most affordable of the lot would be the Nivo, where it sports a 4-inch 800 x 480 display, a 5-megapixel camera, a dual-core 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S2 processor, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
As for the MediaTek-powered San Remo, this puppy has a dual-core 1GHz ARM Cortex A9 processor, with a 4.7” display at a mere 800 x 480 pixels resolution, accompanied by an 8-megapixel shooter at the back and a 2-megapixel shooter in front. Last but not least, the Lumo is the most well equipped of the three, featuring 4G LTE support, an 8-megapixel shooter, a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm S4 Plus processor, and a 4.5” display at 960 × 540 pixels. There is no word on pricing just yet though, so stay tuned. [Press Release]
