Foremay's 2 TB solid-state drive reaches 550 MB/s

Foremay has introduced a 2 TB solid-state drive. The SSD is of the 2.5-inch type, is 9.5 mm thick and features a SATA 6 Gbit/s interface. Foremay has positioned the new drive in the its TC166 and SC199 series. Several SSD techniques are present, including SMART, advanced error correction, advanced power management, fast erase and military secure erase.
