Every day that passes is another day in the iOS/Android war as both platforms are continually duking it out for mobile OS supremacy. Both platforms have had their own little victories, and today’s news is another feather in the cap of both platforms as there’s equal good news for both iOS and Android here.

In a report published today by ChangeWave Research, Apple’s iPhone is still sitting atop the list of prospective smartphone buyers. Approximately 4,000 people were polled for the report to find out which smartphone they would buy in the next 90 days, with 50 percent revealing they’d buy an iPhone. Even though it’s still in first place, that 50 percent is down from 71 percent, which ChangeWave reported last quarter.
