Xbox 360 gamers, if you wish your Xbox controller had more battery life than it does at the moment, then Evil Controllers’ Kickstarter project could be something worth taking a look at. For those unfamiliar, Evil Controllers have long been involved in modifying controllers for consoles like the Xbox 360, and their latest effort is to create an Xbox 360 controller with a built-in lithium-ion battery that will supposedly offer gamers up to 10 hours of use non-stop, while at the same time being able to hold a charge for weeks which means that you should be able to pick it up and play with it even after coming back from a long holiday.
They are also promising gamers a controller with the same ergonomic feel provided by the default Xbox 360 controller, while at the same time supposedly more comfortable and lighter. The battery within the controller can be charged via mini USB. If this sounds like a controller you’d like to own, Evil Controllers is offering the backplate in which you can mod your Xbox 360 controller yourself, or a fully modified controller which will cost you more. If you’d like to learn more and check out the different pledge tiers, head on over to its Kickstarter page for the details.
